Through a simple online survey to professional meteorologists in the US, between April and May of 2015, we look at what factors government, broadcast, and private-sector forecasters use in creating a PoP, to determine which items are most-often considered and to examine if there is consensus among individuals or regions. This is the overview of the results. Here is a pdf of all comments by meteorologists. See results from similar survey given to the general public. Watch a presentation of the survey conclusions here on the AMS past conferences web page.
